Dr. Fry grew up in the San Fernando Vallley, where he attended California State University, Northridge on an athletic scholarship. He continued his education at San Diego State University prior to being accepted at Cleveland Chiropratic College in Los Angeles, where he graduated in 1985. Dr. Fry practiced in Woodland Hills, CA for 7years before moving to San Clemente to start a family in 1992.
Dr. Fry continued his post-graduate education by earning a Fellowship in the International Academy of Clinical Acupuncture (FIACA). He later focused on work related injuries and earned his Certification as an Industrial Disability Examiner, acting as consultant in determining disability status for workers compensation, private disability and Social Security Administration claims. This led to further specialization and he was Appointed by the California State Division of Workers Compensation - Industrial Medical Council as a Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME). As a QME he examined injured workers on behalf of the Division of Worker's Compensation the to evaluate worker's disability and/or to address legal disputes regarding medical treatment or the causes of injury. In this capacity he provided medical-legal reports to determine the injured workers eligibility for workers compensation benefits.
In addition to chiropractic care, Dr. Fry has maintained a focus on the importance of Nutritional Medicine and the role of specific supplementation to aid with a number of health conditions.
